Denis Lawton Memorial Trophy

On Saturday East Preston Fc entertained Croydon Athletic fc for the Denis Lawton memorial trophy. Denis was physio for both clubs and was a great friend to many at both clubs throughout his time. 

Den unfortunately lost his battle with cancer in May but bravely soldiered on until the end of the season determined as ever.

Denis’s wife Eileen and family attended the game and awarded the trophy to Croydon Athletic captain Brandon Pierrick. 

It was a pleasure to honour Denis this way and an entertaining game saw Croydon athletic take home the trophy.
